Management Information System for Stock Control at CV. Agus Mandiri

Inventory management is an important activity for supporting the continuity of construction projects because material availability must be accurately monitored and controlled. At CV Agus Mandiri, inventory recording was previously conducted manually using notebooks and unintegrated spreadsheets, resulting in risks of recording errors, data duplication, delays in obtaining information, and discrepancies between physical stock and administrative records. This research aims to develop a web-based Stock Control Management Information System (SIMKAS) to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and control of inventory management at CV Agus Mandiri. The research uses the Waterfall development method, adapted into four stages: Planning, Analysis, Design, and Implementation. Data were collected through observation and interviews, while system modeling was performed using UML and database design using a relational database model. The system was implemented using PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap 5. SIMKAS provides functions for managing item and project data, incoming and outgoing goods transactions, warehouse locations, Stock Card, inventory reports, minimum-stock monitoring, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Audit Log. System functionality was evaluated using Black Box Testing. The results show that the implemented system successfully supports computerized inventory management, provides integrated inventory information and Stock Card calculations, validates outgoing transactions based on available stock, controls user access according to roles, and records user activities through the Audit Log. All tested functional scenarios produced valid results. The contribution of this research is an integrated web-based inventory control system that combines project-based material tracking, inventory transactions, stock monitoring, access control, and activity traceability within a single platform for a construction-service company.
